In opdracht van Noordje ontwikkelde en gaf ik een tweedelige lessenreeks voor groep 7 van de Buikslotermeerschool, aansluitend op een bezoek aan het Anne Frank Huis.

Centraal stonden de thema’s vrijheid, gelijkwaardigheid en moed. Leerlingen reflecteerden hierop vanuit hun eigen ervaringen en verplaatsten zich in het verhaal van Anne Frank.

Eerst schreven zij een brief aan Anne Frank en maakten een tekening over vrijheid. Daarna maakten de leerlingen een collageportret waarin zij hun eigen gezicht combineerden met dat van Anne Frank, geïnspireerd door het werk van kunstenaar Deborah Roberts.

In de laatste les werkten zij hun portret verder uit met meer collage, oliepastel en/of borduren.
